Hi, I’m Esther.

I’ve been fascinated by the written word since my childhood. Across years of voracious reading across genres, I’ve written plenty of amateur short and long-form fiction; both are still hobbies of mine today. I honed my wordcraft through prolific recreational and education-centered writing. Classmates, friends, and family alike started coming to me regularly for editing and writing needs, and I came to realize that my passion and talents could also be my career. Now, as a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada, I’m here for your freelance editing and writing needs.

The focus of my education has been in English and the social sciences, but I’ve always enjoyed learning about new things. In addition to a variety of short fiction, I’ve edited papers for English, science, business – even architecture. Recently, I’ve supported university applicants in their various Masters’ Program applications, highlighting their strengths within the stringent parameters. In short, I’m eager to apply my love of learning to your project, regardless of the topic or audience.

From my home base in Burnaby, BC, I’ll work to make your project the best it can be.
